Project Chris ~ Holiday Edition 2015
Hello Monday! Are you in full #HolidaySpirit now that Christmas is only 4 short days away? The weekend was blissfully magically when our ground was lightly covered with a fresh coat of white fairy dust, and I couldn't think of any topic more perfect than sharing #ProjectChris ~ holiday edition 2015 with you today.
And if you are like Chris, who says "this doesn't look like Christmas!", well here is the tree! You have seen the sneak peek on #MyNateBerkus and here is my vision in blue and white just like Blogger Christmas at Style at Home!
With chic blue ornaments from HomeDepot, felt birds from pi'lo, gift wraps from Drake General Store, ribbons from Mokuba, white tassel shower curtain hooks by Nate Berkus, and the most festive plaid from Indigo, Christmas 2015 is classic yet fashion forward!
A few more detail shots from the Christmas obsessed:
To up the holiday spirit in this warm and inviting space, I added sparkles with vintage silver and brass candle sticks / ice buckets from Vintage Fine Object, mercury glass vases from Pottery Barn (similar ones here), winter greens, and paperwhite!
With a backdrop of blue, black, and white, I have decided to complement the palette with simple yet effective greenery to liven up the living room. Gold accent is injected throughout for luxe, glamour, and sparkle!
One of my favorite new holiday purchases is the blue agate on a shapely stand dressed in high gloss black for a delicious design statement.
To up the coziness for the holiday, I mixed in a soft wool blanket from EQ3 that echoes the graphic patterns on the rug and a fluffy faux Mongolian lamb pillow from HomeSense with my existing pillows (still obsessed with my geo maze from Tonic Living & polka dot from IKEA) for a layered look.

A few more detail shots from the Christmas obsessed:
I want the gallery wall to stay tranquil and serene, so cotton branches + winter greens are up for the task. Effortlessly elegance: now that's a timeless statement.
I want the kitchen to look stylish yet practical, so I have kept minimal "stuff" (as how Chris labels all decorative items) on the counter at minimal. Amaryllis, clementine, and persimmon + home baked gingerbread cookies are all I've used in the shoot.
Aside of the stunning pendant from Bocci and the beautiful Tresa faucet from Brizo, can you feel my love for those edgy cutting boards from HomeSense?
Here is my favorite shot of the kitchen: who doesn't want to wake up to freshly baked goods on Sunday morning right?
As for the den / dining room, I want it to feel like a cozy country retreat with a been there forever vibe.

Thanks Lindsay for your fantastic DIY tips on how to grow paperwhite! I will have to try that myself next year.
The bedroom has a spectacular view of my personal Christmas market, so I have left it pretty much "as-is" per Chris' request and let the view be the star of the show. But I still manage to squeeze in a hint of #HolidaySpirit with a touch of holly!
I hope you enjoy the tour today and Merry Christmas to you all!
