One Room Challenge Fall 2017 ~ Week 4

Welcome to Week 4 of One Room Challenge Fall 2017! We have been focusing on reno preparation and getting the fundamentals right before the real transformation happens.  I shared our progress in the guest bedroom last week, and today we will give the powder room a brand new look!

Just a quick reminder of how this powder room used to look like:

And here is the spectacular Nuvolette wallpaper in action!

From floor to ceiling, this entire powder room (except the floor) is covered by wallpaper.  Our handyman did an impeccable job to pattern match, even with all these corners and angles in the space!

Of course I couldn't wait any longer to see the Tom Dixon pendant installed,  It looks incredible and gives the space the modern edgy look I am after.  We also managed to pin down the location of an amazing mirror I scored from HomeSense (need to get the proper hanging hardware) and the Jason Wu faucet and accessories will be installed next week!

Now more progress update of the guest bedroom:

Our sleek and chic CB2 pendants are up! Right. .. need to pull off the sticker.

And the custom floating desk are also ready to be installed.  I initially suggested to use white oak veneer but client preferred walnut.  Seeing it installed, I think it looks beautiful and I like how it echoes the mid-tone leather from the Nate Berkus side tables.

Before we wrap up week 4, I have one more favorite to show you.  I fell in love with the OK light from Flos since Day 1 and I couldn't be happier to see it in the room!

That's Week 4 of One Room Challenge Fall 2017! Be sure to check out the progress of the 20 featured designers and guest participants on #ORCFall2017 ... that's exactly where I am heading to right now!
