Happy Thursday and welcome to Week 1 of
One Room Challenge! If you are new friends to
DesignMaze, I am thrilled to meet you and for my BFFs, yours truly is back after taking a much needed break this summer to rejuvenate and freshen my mind, and be inspired by all the beautiful cities I visited in Europe last month.
So what am I up to this time around at #oneroomchallenge you ask? Well I am transforming a home office for a client. Not your typical home office as this space comes with a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom. WAY too much to tackle in 6 weeks, so we will be focusing our attention to this 16' x 10' "office". Aside from its generous real estate, this room is also filled with natural sunlight thanks to its two bright windows. Big space and great lights, could you tell I am jealous?
I will have fun fine-tuning the design board for Week 2 and for now, let's have a look at my inspirations and design elements I would love to incorporate in the office.
I am totally drawn to the streamline and contemporary design aesthetics in all these sophisticated yet cheerful spaces and of course, the soft palettes had me at hello! Six weeks to redo this space is going to be tight but I am ready to get started!
